Pet Services

From monkeys to rabbits… We’ve done it all, we’ve done it everywhere and we’ve done it well!

Why use our services?

We are experienced, responsible, professional, respectful and we have testimonials (see below), references and background checks.

  • We have been local business owners for many years with a great reputation in the area. We can meet you and your pet(s) so you can get to know us, see how we interact and get along, and give us any instructions we need. You will receive a questionnaire to make sure we have all the information we need.

  • Pets get stressed if they have to leave their own environment. We stay in your home and take care of them exactly as you’d want them to be taken care of, and they eat their same food, get any medication they need, go on their walks, and get lots of cuddles and love. Also, you save a significant amount of money over putting them in a kennel or cattery where instead of being one of many, they are our companions.

  • Avoid burdening friends and family. Asking someone to pop in once in a while when you’re away isn’t the same as having someone living with your pets. We live with your pets and spend nights and most and often all day with them so they don’t get anxious or lonely, instead giving them company and lots of attention. We’re happy to send you photos of your pets while we are walking or visiting at your request.

  • Security. As housesitters, we are natural burglar deterrents – your lights are on in the evening, curtains or shutters are opened and closed and the mail is collected.

Why do we offer these services?

Blane grew up in the country and had every kind of pet from snakes to raccoons in a household raising large dogs. Together we had our cat, Jilly, for 20 years. Our cat was diabetic for the last 10 years of her life, needing two insulin shots a day. We loved Jilly deeply and giving her shots was quite easy but having to be home at specific times each day was restricting. For 10 years, to do anything on a whim, a meal, a movie, a night away, we’d arrange for someone to come by to give her insulin and we found that some pet care people were reliable and responsible while others were not. After our cat passed, we house and pet sat internationally for three years on 4 continents and 25 countries, fulfilling our need for the company of furry animals.

At this point, after many years of focusing on building a massage business, we’ve created a more diverse life, expanded our services to include therapy, counseling and coaching and a life that has room for our art, reading, nature, meditating, and other peoples pets. We thank you for the opportunity and look forward to meeting, caring for, and loving your furry family members!
