Grief & Loss Bodywork

It can be an old wound or a new wound, even though grief and loss are an ongoing and natural part of life, it doesn’t mean it’s easy or simple.

We can ask ourselves all the questions about how we heal from it and how we get to the other side but there’s a time to just be in a way that is kind and gentle.

This is that time.

Loss and grief can put us in darkness. It can affect our functioning, our relationships, and can even create a loss of self, of who we are and any sense of enjoyment. In turn we can lose our direction, our future, our present, and support system. We can feel like no one understands us, and there is no one to express this loss and grief to. We may have the need to protect others from knowing the full extent of our feelings so we pretend, or we isolate. This is the ground for despair.

These sessions work with you physical body, your cranial and nervous system to bring you into your center.

Let simple, gentle, warm, caring, attentive, connected touch, one human to another, be a wonderful, beautiful and amazing balm.

Book yourself a good, long session.

Important note: It is highly recommended that you match your emotional distress with the support you need. This bodywork can help calm your nervous system and ground you but it does not replace psychological or medical help. You’re welcome to also book a therapy/counseling session with Monique or a Men’s Issues Coaching/Mentoring session with Blane for additional support and/or exploration.
