Resolving injuries or aches and pains before going into a pregnancy can make all the difference in the last few months when weight, balance and stability become a stressing factor on the body. New aches and pains often develop during pregnancy and massage during these months can bring much needed relief. Common issues are lower back, shoulder, leg and sciatic pain as well as lower abdominal discomfort in the last few weeks of the pregnancy. Once the baby is born can be another time of increased physical stress as you carry a weight that you are familiar with in unfamiliar positions.
