At Hand in Hand, our goal is to enhance your health and well being through personalized, professional therapeutic massage and bodywork. We want you to feel comfortable with us. We encourage you to participate in the process by asking questions and providing us with feedback. By doing so, we can truly work hand-in-hand towards achieving your own personal health goals through the services we provide.

BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL
· Take a shower before you arrive
· Cover any open cuts, sores, or warts with a clean bandage
· Refrain from alcohol consumption and from overeating

YOUR TIME
We recommend that you arrive early so you don’t feel anxious and plan some free time after your session so that you do not diminish the relaxing effects of your massage by feeling rushed due to time constraints.

CHECK-IN
Each session begins with a brief check-in. This is the most opportune time to discuss specific problem areas that you feel may need more focused attention, or any areas you want us to avoid. Remember, it’s your time. It’s your wellness that matters most, from beginning to end.

AFTER YOUR SESSION
Tight, congested muscles trap toxins within the body that are stimulated and released during massage. After your session, it is recommended that you drink plenty of water. This helps flush the toxins from your body.

A hot bath in Epsom salts will help prevent or relieve any soreness you may experience from your session, and will also assist in the detoxification process.
