Monique is State Licensed and Nationally Certified and has been in practice since 1991. Working with your unique physiology and goals she integrates deep tissue, pressure point work, Swedish, neuromuscular massage, therapeutic touch, polarity and/or Craniosacral to facilitate the body’s return to physical, emotional, mental & spiritual health and harmony. In addition, Monique specializes in whiplash, headaches and tmj and considers Relaxation Massage an art. She is certified in pre and post natal Massage, Breast Massage, Post Surgery / Mastectomy Massage & is training with Hugh Milne in Craniosacral.

Educated in England , Israel and America , Monique worked as a therapist after receiving her MA in Expressive Therapies in 1989, switching paths to massage therapy in 1991. She has taught at a number of massage schools in New England, served in the Israeli Defense Forces, was a senior instructor at Impact, Model Mugging of Boston (a national self-defense program) for seven years, is certified by the National Women’s Martial Arts Federation as a self-defense instructor, earned a black belt in Kali, and in 1998 was inducted into the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame.

Blane Allen

Blane has been a Massage Professional since 1993 and is State Licensed and Nationally Certified.

Blane’s unique and in-depth understanding of the body, his eclectic training and integration of techniques assists his clients in overcoming the root of their discomfort.

His experience spans more than a decade in Asian bodywork with additional training in therapeutic massage as well as calming relaxation techniques. Blane is certified in Medical Massage specializing in sciatica, lower back and hip pain. He regularly works with pre and post operative acute and chronic injuries. Blanes work with athletes allows them to function at peak performance. Marathon runners, golfers, tennis players, etc. find relief from an array of sport related injuries.

Blane studied Traditional Chinese Health and Vitality Techniques from 1987 to 1997. He studied Tuina, a Chinese massage technique, with Dr. Wong and Dr. James Wu of the Beijing University , and in 1997 graduated as an Integrated Eclectic Shiatsu Practitioner from Nippon Shiatsu Daigaku under Toshiko Phipps. He has been a member of the AOBTA since 1993 and is currently studying Daoist Qigong with Eva Wong and training with Hugh Milne in Craniosacral.
